(*) Something else

Today I've been listening to - and really enjoying - the smooth mellowness of the cool jazz musings of Miles Davis' 1959 album "A Kind of Blue"... simply gorgeous sounds and feeling. People have raved about this album for almost half a century - and for good reason. I'm not normally 'into' jazz, but this... this is... something else...
Miles Davis - Kind of Blue

On This Day...
Born: Mickey Dolenz [The Monkees, 1945]
Died: Ron 'Pigpen' Mckernan [Grateful Dead, 1973]; Adam Faith [singer, 2003]
Events: International Women's Day
Useless Trivia: the Laccadive island group in the Arabian Sea contain 27 islands.
Footwear: bare butt nekkid - still..
Weather: it's raining again! yay! oooh... a mid-afternoon storm to boot... ooohhh.........
There was a young man named Hall
Who fell in the spring in the fall
'Twould have been a sad thing
Had he died in the spring.
But he didn't - he died in the fall
